Figaro Salon has fulfilled all of my hair goals since I started visiting them in the summer of 2021. They have made me blonde, dark again, red, and back to dark without damaging my hair. Lina and Elena are both sweethearts and extremely talented in their craft. I know I can always count on them to achieve the look I'm going for without compromising my hair health.

I had a great experience with Lina at Figaro Salon on 3/30/24. Added a picture of my hair done with Air touch technique. Love it! And special thanx for Lina for her professionalism, hospitality, and an eye for beauty. The saloon is a 7 mins’ walk from TTC, the staff are both friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I searched high and low for a salon to bring my mom to. Because it was a surprise appointment for her 80th bday, I had to speak on her behalf in terms of what I knew she was looking for. Both Elena and Lina took the time to understand the ask and even made sure to caution me about the fact that it would take time, given her current hair length, to achieve the style and look she’s been hoping for. They assured me that she would be well taken care of and would have a beautiful cut and style in the meantime while we work toward her desired cut. They were not wrong. It’s been a week since we visited the salon where we were warmly greeted and welcomed. Lina was delightful, attentive, communicative throughout the process, explaining in detail the steps she would take on this visit and in future ones to get to the desired end. You could tell this wasn’t an act but genuinely who she is and how I’m sure she would treat all her clients. Elena also checked in and was attentive and lovely to deal with. When it was time to pay I had forgotten about the first deposit I had given to make the appointment (only asked for on the very first booking) so I paid the full amount. Elena promptly returned the $25, reminding me that the deposit was applied to the cost of this appointment. I would have completely forgotten. Aside from the attention to detail and genuine care demonstrated to make my mom happy with her experience and cut, the level of skill as a stylist is evident. My mom is over the moon with her hair cut and style and so excited to have found this salon after being disappointed too many times in the past. Thanks so much Lina and Elena, for taking care of my mom on the eve of her 80th birthday. She looked beautiful at the gala with her new cut and style and has not stopped raving. We are looking forward to seeing you at her next appointment!

Excellent salon. Quick appointment booking with preliminary consultation. Great specialists who adjusted my color even better than I expected. They refreshed my haircut without cutting the length. They helped choose the right care and gave recommendations for maintaining the color. Also, everyone was very friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

To put it simply, this was an elite hair dressing experience. In fact, I didn’t know a haircut could be so pleasant! Lina listened carefully, checked in every step of the way, handled my hair gently and also explained certain steps. I felt reassured that I was in good hands - something you often don’t come across when at a new salon getting a haircut. But more than the evident experience and skill that Lina had, I was left with the biggest smile on my face due to the genuinely warm and friendly approach from herself and Elena. I had haircuts from three different hairdressers(the owner, the male hairdresser and the female hairdresser who does perms) in this place. They were all very professional and talented stylists. The owner watches every process and makes sure every customer is satisfied. When I first went there, my hair was terribly ruined by another hairdresser, the male stylist did such a good job. He simply saved my life! Last but not least, yesterday I tried the female stylist professional on curly hair, and now I can’t stay away from the mirror! Although this place is not expensive, their work is better than most fancy places. I highly recommend this Salon!

Firstly I would love to say that Elena and Lina are absolute angels! They are so funny, enthusiastic and brightened up my mood instantly. They really know the meaning of amazing customer service. I did my cut with Lina. She was incredibly gentle with my very tangled hair. We did a beautiful butterfly cut and she did a blowout afterwards. She was really amazing about checking to see what i’d like and she kept in mind that I wanted to keep my hair long. Now my hair feels so healthy with a lot of volume and bounce. These are the only women I can trust with my hair now! Thank you ladies!!

If I could give Sindy a thousand stars, I would. She is by far the kindest and most skilled professional I have ever experienced in this field. She had very clear and polite communication right from the very first message to set up the appointment. After meeting Sindy at the door, I felt instantly relaxed because I knew I was in good hands. She has a very compassionate and warm demeanour paired with a confidence that will make you feel safe. She took the time to listen to my concerns about cutting too much length due to a previous bad experience with someone else who had chopped my hair without asking. She was extremely patient and took extra time to reassure me that she would not be doing that. She also went out of her way to communicate with me before and after cutting, as well as asking for my opinion on the colour and tone of the highlights. She even blow dried a section to see if I liked the tone of the blonde before finalizing everything. I said I trusted her and she could do whatever she wanted but she still included me so I felt empowered. She also gave me some tips on how to keep my new fabulous hair happy and healthy. I know Sindy specializes in colour correction and I can see why. Her empathetic nature paired with her razor sharp skills and artistry are very reassuring to anyone who may have had a recent experience elsewhere that hadn’t gone well. She will give your hair new life and help you trust again. She is basically a magical hair wizard! Sindy is a beautiful soul both inside and out and I am so grateful I had the privilege of meeting her.

I am late to post my review. I got my balayage and cut done on 16th November by Lina. What an amazing person and stylist she is. She suggested me to get mushroom balayage and I went with it. I wanted my hair not to be too short and have curtain bangs. She did her magic in both. I was a bit skeptical as i could not see the mushroom balayage much on my brunette hair but she assured me that it will and Yes she was right. It looks so good now. So beautiful. 💜 I am so happy that i chose Fiagro and had Lina as my hair stylist. Will go again. Shout-out to you Lina. 💜 God bless.

It was my first time at Figaro Hair Salon. The owner Elena is warm, welcoming, and so knowledgeable. I had my hair cut by Art. I have been to high-end salons and must say Art did a superior job. He's attention to detail, knowledge of cutting techniques suited to individual hair types is excellent. I'm so happy to have found Art. I highly recommend him!

Love love the Keratin treatment. Just did it for the first time, my hair was frizzy, and dry, and now I didn't even need to blow dry it straight, just so much easier to take care of. Highly recommend.

Been working with Sindy for a while and she gives be the best cuts and colours ever. Transitioned to bangs and a fantastic tone-down of my super blonde hair to match my roots going in. She's a total pro and will always be realistic with your color expectations and what is actually possible with color technology.

Wonderful salon! Sindy did a great job on my cut and colour (which was a little unconventional!) despite my indecisiveness and only having a couple photos! Staff are lovely. My new go-to!

Really good :) I was at first upset because my hair had not turned out the way I wanted, but on my second visit Elena transformed my hair and also taught me how to style it on my own. They patiently explained that a perm is used to achieve a texture and aid the style, but that the look would inevitably still require a little work and maintenance. Pretty late to jot down this review but I wanted to be honest and understand how color was working around my hair before I said anything: took a good month and now here it is! 😀 I have black hair naturally, very thick and wavy. Came to Figaro after reading all the reviews since I wanted some dimension. Previously had never experienced lightening of the hair so naturally my fears were anything but normal. I had a ton of questions and worries circling my mind but the team here answered everything! Sindy/Cindy gave me a mushroom brown balyage along with a caramel glaze to keep the color from fading quicker (since I was travelling). I have to say: their hydration treatment post color is absolutely amazing and the way the color has blossomed over these few weeks is what I've loved. I do use the glaze for a few minutes after I shampoo and the gorgeous mushroom brown is the perfect blend to my dark hair. The roots weren't lightened but I requested a root/grey coverage to be color matched with the natural black and so everything blended really well. Everyone seems to love the shade and the change and this has brushed away my fear forever! Thank you so much team Figaro 💜💜

I’ve had my hair Straightened a few times before. I was looking for a new place and liked the reviews for Figaro. I have now gotten my hair straightened three times with Lina. Detailed, professional, skilled, and a lovely person, all in one package. This last time Lina offered me the choice of a few different keratin treatments. She helped me pick the second strongest version and wow! I absolutely love my silky soft straight hair.

Cindy worked wonders with my hair, loved the color, exactly what I wanted. Everyone had a friendly face, the appointment was for highlights and I have tons of hair, they were super patient and the job could not have been better!!

I have looked for an expert opinion on the hair perm I have gotten at a top salon in Ottawa. (Moved from Toronto to Ottawa a few months ago). To my pleasant surprise Elena contacted me right away and based on the pics I have sent her she provided me with tips I need to style my hair. It has been clear to me from the very first words exchanged that Elena is a master at her craft with high professional standards and a lot of care for the customers. That gave me assurance that I am in the right hands so much so that I would take the trip to Toronto to have my hair styled at this salon. I am very satisfied with my spiral perm and this is my second time visiting the salon. They are definitely the best in town. Lina is amazing doing the perm, she understands exactly how I want it and I enjoy very much talking to Elena, she is very talented and knowledgeable. I visited this salon last week for colour correction services after being steered to the salon by amazing online reviews - and I'm so glad I did! Lina was fantastic at assessing the issues with the current highlights (wrong tone, colour placement, uneven processing), understanding what overall look I was after, and walking me through what steps would be needed to correct them. She was able to turn the 'yellow/orange/stripey' highlights I walked in with to a very natural and sun-kissed look, and I'm so happy with how it all worked out. Thanks Lina!

I usually don't write any reviews but this is a MUST! I had the most relaxing experience with Sindy! She is the sweetest, and made me feel comfortable during my appointment. My hair was difficult to manage for the LONGEST time, because of my past choices in box dyeing, which made me feel insecure as it was impossible to restore alone. She completely transformed my hair! I have never seen it so healthy, soft, and shiny. I could not shut up about my cut and dye for days. I am obsessed! If you struggle with breakage, tangled, damaged hair, Sindy can fix that for you, definitely worth the price, she is a pro!

Cindy SAVED my hair! I went to her with what I thought was an absolutely dire bleach job and left with the exact hair style that I wanted. Not only does it look incredible, it FEELS incredible. Lina always does a fantastic job! I trust her to cut and shape my hair based on the natural wave and everyday looks I use and she always does the best job! They have top notch sanitization and safety protocols in place so not only did I get a fantastic cut, I felt very safe!

I got my 2nd perm at Figaro and Lina is such an expert at her craft! She cares about her work and she is very sincere, caring, and humble. I loved my experience with Figaro both times, she made the 3-5 hour appointments more than bearable and the entire atmosphere of the salon is so welcoming and family-like. I waited 10 months in between perms and it still looked natural and curly. You pay for the quality of their work and it is definitely worth it!

What can I say Ethan is an absolute expert in all aspects of hair. You will not be disappointed when you visit him in salon. No job is too big or too difficult for Ethan to undertake. He is also caring and genuine, he will listen to what your hair needs and wants are and give you an honest and realistic answer. If I could give him a 10 star rating I would, be would deserve it.

The Stylist I booked an appointment with, was very honest, personable, and knowledgeable about the treatment that I needed and how to deal with the problem that I face with my hair. I was able to book an appointment at the exact same day that I called, they had availability to see me and recommend the best approach for my hair. Excellent service and great people. This salon is a hidden gem! Elena did an amazing job with my hair. All of the staff were very friendly. It was my first time doing a balayage and she knew exactly what would suit my hair and skin tone. I felt very comfortable during the process and astonished with the results. Loved this place. I had my wedding coming up and was so nervous about getting a balayage. I was looking for a copper balayage. They gave me correct advice and suggesting color which suits my skin tone by giving me a natural look. They spent about 3 to 4 hours and also gave me styling which I was looking for. 5 star for work done and cleanliness.

This salon saved my hair! I am so thankful for the services that I received at the Figaro Salon. Amandine and Elena took on a very difficult task to colour correct my recently coloured hair which was done by another salon. I arrived at Figaro's with bleached and burnt hair which was supposed to be a balayage. As you can see by attached Before and After photos, they did a fantastic job of not only saving my hair but also creating the desired balayage and making it look soooooooo beautiful! Thank you so much, ladies! Services at this salon are not cheap but the results are so worth it! The staff at Figaro is extremely experienced and professional (check out their website for more details on staff's qualifications and experience) that it justifies their prices 100%! Don't be fooled by 'special prices' at other salons. Quality work requires time and professionalism and that costs money.

I had the Brazilian blowout keratin treatment done to my hair today and the results were amazing. Elena is such a sweet lady. I highly recommend this place.

I asked for a rose gold balayage with ton of dimension and that is what i got! I am so happy with my new hair color :) Lina (i believe that was her name; very tall and long hair) was so patient. A lot of sectioning, blending and a lot of product for sure goes a long way. She always asked if i was Okay and offered me something to drink. My hair actually looks longer after leaving this salon :) and most importantly looks and feels healthy. It was pricey but i am super stoked to rock this and will def return for more crazy hair colors :)

So I found this place on google and I cannot be happier. I absolutely love what they did to my hair. I went with dry damaged brassy hair and they made my hair so beautiful. I am in love with my hair now. Their customer service was the best. I will totally recommend this place to my friends.

I am so happy I have found this place! After having my hair burned by another salon, I met Elena for a consultation and her experience, knowledge, talent and warmth made me at ease immediately. She knows what to do in every situation to give you an amazing color. I came back for my transformation a week later and Elena and Amandine were able to correct my color and work their magic on my hair. I went to Figaro a few weeks ago for a cut and balayage. I had already had balayage done that was growing out, and wanted more colour to help blend it with my natural colour. I had originally asked for highlights but they knew what I was looking for and suggested balayage instead, for a more gradual look which turned out exactly as I'd hoped! They had also made another suggestion for my haircut so that I would get everything I wanted out of my new hair. It turned out beautifully. Lina might be one of my favourite people in the world. She does an AMAZING job to tend to the customer while listening to how you want your hair to look. Came in to get my second perm and decided to do tighter curls this time. She made sure not to have my hair damaged at all. Came out beautifully and soft! Gave me incredible layers and the perfect short length for my face shape. Makes me feel so confident about my hair and how healthy it looks! I can honestly say that I could move halfway across the world and I would still only trust Lina with my hair. Thank you!

I was long overdue for a hair cut and color but was procrastinating to go as other salons couldn't provide me with a convenient time.

Prior to the booking I had a hair cut consultation with the owner of the Salon Lena who answered all my questions and provided the best suggestions for the hair coloring and booked my appointment right the next day. I had a wonderful hair cut and Balayage coloring done at Figaro Hair Salon on May 5. Lina was the hair dresser who did a fantastic job! The haircut is very manageable and exactly what I needed. The coloring was done to perfection with the shades I wanted ( ...and I am very picky ). I waited for three weeks to post an honest review as I wanted to see how my hair would 'behave' and I am very thrilled about the final results. My wife and I stumbled on this gem a month ago, with the reviews alone we decided to check it out and get a consultation.

From what we received from Elena we were very impressed (when doing your research and been to how many salons...'you'd be surprised' this place was the most knowledgeable/polite for us). From just 1 meeting she figured out my wife's hair along with complete honesty of what its going to take to fix it 'which is really what we are looking for.' We ended up coming back after 3 weeks (BOOK EARLY/ASAP! they are SUPER BUSY!), Elena and her team did an AMAZING JOB!! with my wife's hair (after a few salons couldn't get it right..)

I went to Figaro to get a big chop! My hair went half way down my back and I cut it to my chin. I came to Figaro to get blond highlights done. My hair was a complete disaster. It was damaged but worse of all the colour needed lots of correction. The staff at Figaro were great. I can't believe they saved my hair from the disaster it was in. I was so happy with the service. They took their time but above all did an amazing job. My hair looks perfect. So hard to get a salon that will do an amazing blond job. Figaro did it. I am definitely coming back!

I went to Figaro a couple of months back and received quite a few treaments, I got my hair ombréd and the next day went back for a kerasilk treatment because I was going to travel and had very frizzy hair in humidity! My experience was amazing Elena and Lina were the woman who worked their magic on me!! The espresso machine was a god sent and snacking on coco sticks was even better!! And the work they do and knowledge is crazy I learned so much about my hair and for a first time at a Toronto hair salon I was extremely impressed I cant wait to go back and my hair is still silky smooth even after my trip and the colour is amazing!! ❤️❤️❤️

My first visit to Figaro was for a colour correction; another salon gave me blonde highlights I did not like and they gave me a hard time when I asked to have it fixed. I am so happy I chose Figaro, I am so pleased with the results! Lina assessed my hair, gave me quite a few options for correction, and then not only corrected my hair colour with a beautiful balayage/toner over blonde highlights, she also trimmed my hair to get rid of the choppy haircut I received (the cut started as just a quick fix, but she ended up cutting/styling it amazingly and for no charge). Throughout the process, Lina explained everything to me before she proceeded, which I really appreciated. Her and the rest of the crew treated me to coffee and chocolates and lastly, and this might just be my preference, but Lina always addressed me by my name, not 'hun, sweetie' or other terms of endearments, but by my name and it really made me feel like she was there for me, saw me as a person she wanted to help and not just another client. Thank you Lina and Figaro, I am absolutely calling you my salon of choice and so far, the best I have visited in Toronto!

This place has been nothing but pleasant! I have had excellent service from not only my stylist himself, but also the others involved. I gpt my hair dyed a new colour (ombre balayage) and the result has exceeded my expectations. It took roughly 2 hours give or take to get the style done and it was worth the wait. I arrived an hour early for my appointment and only had about 8 mins of waiting time. I was able to get it done earlier. Great service! Excellent!

I've waited for 6 months, and so now I can base my review on several visits. First, if your hair is a disaster, whether from a single catastrophic encounter at someone else's hands or from a series of not-so-great decisions (which was my case), then you get yourself over to Figaro and their expert hands, and he will perform a miracle of colour correction and balayage of near biblical proportions so that you and everyone else will be amazed at your fab hair. Then you keep going back, appointment after appointment, because you will find yourself addicted to the experience of consistently excellent cuts and colour. You may start to wonder why you have been doing anything other than this your whole adult life. At Figaro, the staff is expert and warm, and I really appreciate the atmosphere, which is welcoming and not at all pretentious. 5 stars without hesitation!

Today, I had my hair done at Figaro Hair Salon by Lina and Elena. Lina is a professional hair stylist did a very good job by doing balayage and laminate for my hair. About a month ago, I've had a bad experience at another place where my hair colour end up completely wrong. So, I went to see Elena ( Art director) at Figaro Salon and asked her to fix the mistake. Elena took very professional approach advising it to be done in a few steps avoiding damagiing my hair. Elena and Lina work as a team. Elena has a very good esthetic taste and can give unique professional advice. I am very happy with the result.

Very professional salon. This is by far the best salon I have been to in Toronto I don't put reviews but this one was needed. I did colour my hair and cut and looks amazing. Just next time I'm gonna cut my hair longer I cut it more than I should. Anyways they know what to do and I forgot the name of the lady who did mine she was veryyyyyyyyyyyy professional. I went to this salon over the weekend for balayge hair colour. Even though I had walked in with unrealistic expectations, Lina and the owner listened and walked me through the process and pricing and suggested an approach that would suit my damaged hair. Lina is an absolute perfectionist and took her time and didn't rush through the process ensuring my hair was not being overprocessed and even stayed past their closing time to finish and style. My hair turned out way better than I expected, blended beautifully with a gorgeous tone of blond. I have been to this salon a few times and have always had a good experience. Great people, friendly atmosphere and wonderful service [not to mention the fantastic coffee and treats :)]. Today I had my brown roots and blonde highlights done by Lina. I have been experiencing some hair health issues lately and Lina was so considerate, gentle and reassurring. I received beautiful platinum blonde highlights without any damage. It turned out exactly as the picture I showed. The cut was perfect, as was the style. It has been a while since I've been this pleased with my hair and how my hair was dealt with. Thank you Lina ... you are an absolute sweetheart and I am very pleased and happy with my hair!

I love, love, LOVE my new colour! I described what I wanted and I got exactly what I asked for - the results surpassed my expectations! However, I only gave four stars because the cut leaves a little to be desired. I have very thick hair and she thinned it out way too much, especially the right side which is noticeably a bit shorter than the left side. That said, my hair IS damaged at the moment so I guess losing a bit more than I wanted will probably be a benefit in the long run. I don't hate it, I'm just not 100% happy. It's not a deal breaker though and with the amazing colour results, I will definitely give them a second chance and just tell her go easy on the thinning next time. Did I mention that I love, love, LOVE my new colour?!
