If I could give Sindy a thousand stars, I would. She is by far the kindest and most skilled professional I have ever experienced in this field. She had very clear and polite communication right from the very first message to set up the appointment. After meeting Sindy at the door, I felt instantly relaxed because I knew I was in good hands. She has a very compassionate and warm demeanour paired with a confidence that will make you feel safe. She took the time to listen to my concerns about cutting too much length due to a previous bad experience with someone else who had chopped my hair without asking. She was extremely patient and took extra time to reassure me that she would not be doing that. She also went out of her way to communicate with me before and after cutting, as well as asking for my opinion on the colour and tone of the highlights. She even blow dried a section to see if I liked the tone of the blonde before finalizing everything. I said I trusted her and she could do whatever she wanted but she still included me so I felt empowered. She also gave me some tips on how to keep my new fabulous hair happy and healthy. I know Sindy specializes in colour correction and I can see why. Her empathetic nature paired with her razor sharp skills and artistry are very reassuring to anyone who may have had a recent experience elsewhere that hadn’t gone well. She will give your hair new life and help you trust again. She is basically a magical hair wizard! Sindy is a beautiful soul both inside and out and I am so grateful I had the privilege of meeting her.

It was my first time at Figaro Hair Salon. The owner Elena is warm, welcoming, and so knowledgeable. I had my hair cut by Art. I have been to high-end salons and must say Art did a superior job. Been working with Sindy for a while and she gives be the best cuts and colours ever. Transitioned to bangs and a fantastic tone-down of my super blonde hair to match my roots going in. She's a total pro and will always be realistic with your color expectations and what is actually possible with color technology.

Wonderful salon! Sindy did a great job on my cut and colour (which was a little unconventional!) despite my indecisiveness and only having a couple photos! Staff are lovely. My new go-to!

I visited this salon last week for colour correction services after being steered to the salon by amazing online reviews - and I'm so glad I did! Lina was fantastic at assessing the issues with the current highlights (wrong tone, colour placement, uneven processing), understanding what overall look I was after, and walking me through what steps would be needed to correct them. She was able to turn the 'yellow/orange/stripey' highlights I walked in with to a very natural and sun-kissed look, and I'm so happy with how it all worked out. Thanks Lina!

What can I say Ethan is an absolute expert in all aspects of hair. You will not be disappointed when you visit him in salon. No job is too big or too difficult for Ethan to undertake. He is also caring and genuine, he will listen to what your hair needs and wants are and give you an honest and realistic answer. If I could give him a 10 star rating I would, be would deserve it.

So I found this place on google and I cannot be happier. I absolutely love what they did to my hair. I went with dry damaged brassy hair and they made my hair so beautiful. I am in love with my hair now. Their customer service was the best. I will totally recommend this place to my friends.

I am so happy I have found this place! After having my hair burned by another salon, I met Elena for a consultation and her experience, knowledge, talent and warmth made me at ease immediately. She knows what to do in every situation to give you an amazing color. I came back for my transformation a week later and Elena and Amandine were able to correct my color and work their magic on my hair. Not only do I have an amazing color but also a very modern look and cut. I am so happy I found them!

I was long overdue for a hair cut and color but was procrastinating to go as other salons couldn't provide me with a convenient time.

Prior to the booking I had a hair cut consultation with the owner of the Salon Lena who answered all my questions and provided the best suggestions for the hair coloring and booked my appointment right the next day. I had a wonderful hair cut and Balayage coloring done at Figaro Hair Salon on May 5. Lina was the hair dresser who did a fantastic job! The haircut is very manageable and exactly what I needed. The coloring was done to perfection with the shades I wanted ( ...and I am very picky ). I waited for three weeks to post an honest review as I wanted to see how my hair would 'behave' and I am very thrilled about the final results. Thank you to the team at Figaro hair salon who made my hair look amazing and manageable. I highly recommend.

My wife and I stumbled on this gem a month ago, with the reviews alone we decided to check it out and get a consultation.

From what we received from Elena we were very impressed (when doing your research and been to how many salons...'you'd be surprised' this place was the most knowledgeable/polite for us). From just 1 meeting she figured out my wife's hair along with complete honesty of what its going to take to fix it 'which is really what we are looking for.' We ended up coming back after 3 weeks (BOOK EARLY/ASAP! they are SUPER BUSY!), Elena and her team did an AMAZING JOB!! with my wife's hair (after a few salons couldn't get it right..)

My wife is so trilled with the professional care of 'Service' and 'Results' that she has received. They were ever so gentle and caring. This team of wonderful talented artists take their time in perfecting their work and you can tell that they take a lot of pride in what they do. Oh my GOD! This place is amazing. Lina did an amazing job on my hair when I wanted a drastic change (waist length to a long bob). So happy with the cut and style, quality of service, and attention to detail. Prices are also EXTREMELY reasonable for the quality.

I went to Figaro to get a big chop! My hair went half way down my back and I cut it to my chin. Whenever I do a drastic hair transformation, I want to make sure that I trust the person who's cutting it. Figaro was a first for me, and it definitely won't be a last! Lina did an amazing job- she listened to what I wanted and she delivered beyond my expectations (and I'm picky). She was also welcoming and beyond friendly from the moment I walked into the salon. I went to Figaro a couple of months back and received quite a few treaments, I got my hair ombréd and the next day went back for a kerasilk treatment because I was going to travel and had very frizzy hair in humidity! My experience was amazing Elena and Lina were the woman who worked their magic on me!! The espresso machine was a god sent and snacking on coco sticks was even better!! And the work they do and knowledge is crazy I learned so much about my hair and for a first time at a Toronto hair salon I was extremely impressed I cant wait to go back and my hair is still silky smooth even after my trip and the colour is amazing!! ❤️❤️❤️

Today, I had my hair done at Figaro Hair Salon by Lina and Elena. Lina is a professional hair stylist did a very good job by doing balayage and laminate for my hair. About a month ago, I've had a bad experience at another place where my hair colour end up completely wrong. So, I went to see Elena ( Art director) at Figaro Salon and asked her to fix the mistake. Elena took very professional approach advising it to be done in a few steps avoiding damagiing my hair. Elena and Lina work as a team. Elena has a very good esthetic taste and can give unique professional advice. I am very happy with the result.

Very professional salon. This is by far the best salon I have been to in Toronto I don't put reviews but this one was needed. I did colour my hair and cut and looks amazing. Just next time I'm gonna cut my hair longer I cut it more than I should. Anyways they know what to do and I forgot the name of the lady who did mine she was veryyyyyyyyyyyy professional. I highly recommend this salon. You get what u want. And the owner is amazing she went through everything with how to style it, what colour and everything was perfect.

I went to this salon over the weekend for balayge hair colour. Even though I had walked in with unrealistic expectations, Lina and the owner listened and walked me through the process and pricing and suggested an approach that would suit my damaged hair. Lina is an absolute perfectionist and took her time and didn't rush through the process ensuring my hair was not being overprocessed and even stayed past their closing time to finish and style. My hair turned out way better than I expected, blended beautifully with a gorgeous tone of blond. I have been to this salon a few times and have always had a good experience. Great people, friendly atmosphere and wonderful service [not to mention the fantastic coffee and treats :)]. Today I had my brown roots and blonde highlights done by Lina. I have been experiencing some hair health issues lately and Lina was so considerate, gentle and reassurring. I received beautiful platinum blonde highlights without any damage. It turned out exactly as the picture I showed. The cut was perfect, as was the style. It has been a while since I've been this pleased with my hair and how my hair was dealt with. Thank you Lina ... you are an absolute sweetheart and I am very pleased and happy with my hair!

I love, love, LOVE my new colour! I described what I wanted and I got exactly what I asked for - the results surpassed my expectations! However, I only gave four stars because the cut leaves a little to be desired. I have very thick hair and she thinned it out way too much, especially the right side which is noticeably a bit shorter than the left side. That said, my hair IS damaged at the moment so I guess losing a bit more than I wanted will probably be a benefit in the long run. I don't hate it, I'm just not 100% happy. It's not a deal breaker though and with the amazing colour results, I will definitely give them a second chance and just tell her go easy on the thinning next time. Did I mention that I love, love, LOVE my new colour?!

Cindy SAVED my hair! I went to her with what I thought was an absolutely dire bleach job and left with the exact hair style that I wanted. Not only does it look incredible, it FEELS incredible. Absolutely restored. Both Cindy and Elena consulted with me and kept expectations realistic but let me tell you they EXCEEDED ALL OF THEM. Trust me. I have been getting my hair done at the Figaro salon for over 10 years now. It is operated by the owner Elena, who has lots of hairstyling and hair coloring experience. She probably won every single award under the sun! All her staff are very knowledgeable and a couple of years ago I had a pleasure of meeting Lina. She has years of hair styling experience on her own. Whether you are looking for creative ideas for coloring / cut /styles that would best suit you or have something specific in mind she is your kind of gal. With her we have maintained different styles which I loved but we also experimented with some new ones. She is a gem, I have never been disappointed and I am pleased to share my experience with her work. I am posting some of the coloring we did recently. I have been a customer for a couple of years and I have found the quality and customer service to be excellent.

I rarely have to wait to be seated and I can't say that of any other hair salon --and I am always a few minutes early!

I went to Figaro hair salon to achieve the perfect blonde/balayage.

I went in with extremely damaged brassy hair and the hairdresser Tamara spent 6+ hours on my hair to rejuvenate it and give me the best style and color.

Tamara knows exactly what she is doing and she is so professional, kind, and honest. OBSESSED with my new hair. I also love so much their entire team, they are so welcoming and honest and care so much for their client's hair. I will 100% return to them!

Everyone was super nice, a hairstylist Lina came across as very knowledgeable and experienced, she offered me a couple of hair style options, and was very helpful, I truly enjoyed the entire process! I am a new resident to Toronto and was having a tough time choosing a salon. When I called into Figaro, Elena was incredibly helpful in matching me to a great stylist for my proposed cut/color, Michelle. Michelle took extra time, care, and patience with me as I was doing a very dramatic color change from light to dark which I was having some anxiety about. I was given a full consultation in-salon before anything occurred, and both Elena and Michelle walked me through the numerous coloring options to make the best choice (we ended up with a “reverse balayage” instead of a semi-permanent dye which turned out AWESOME). I was in the salon for over 3 hours and felt totally taken care of and confident with Michelle handling my hair, something I am really particular with after modeling and using the same stylist for many years. Even though we went over my appointment time, Michelle did not try to rush me out but *still* cut and styled my hair as she knew I was going downtown to an event. She was so great, personable, and really listened to what I wanted while offering excellent suggestions and providing great company for my long appointment. 5/5 - would recommend Michelle and this salon to anyone!
