I searched high and low for a salon to bring my mom to. Because it was a surprise appointment for her 80th bday, I had to speak on her behalf in terms of what I knew she was looking for. Both Elena and Lina took the time to understand the ask and even made sure to caution me about the fact that it would take time, given her current hair length, to achieve the style and look she’s been hoping for. They assured me that she would be well taken care of and would have a beautiful cut and style in the meantime while we work toward her desired cut. They were not wrong. It’s been a week since we visited the salon where we were warmly greeted and welcomed. Lina was delightful, attentive, communicative throughout the process, explaining in detail the steps she would take on this visit and in future ones to get to the desired end. You could tell this wasn’t an act but genuinely who she is and how I’m sure she would treat all her clients. Elena also checked in and was attentive and lovely to deal with. When it was time to pay I had forgotten about the first deposit I had given to make the appointment (only asked for on the very first booking) so I paid the full amount. Elena promptly returned the $25, reminding me that the deposit was applied to the cost of this appointment. I would have completely forgotten. Aside from the attention to detail and genuine care demonstrated to make my mom happy with her experience and cut, the level of skill as a stylist is evident. My mom is over the moon with her hair cut and style and so excited to have found this salon after being disappointed too many times in the past. Thanks so much Lina and Elena, for taking care of my mom on the eve of her 80th birthday. She looked beautiful at the gala with her new cut and style and has not stopped raving. We are looking forward to seeing you at her next appointment!

Excellent salon. Quick appointment booking with preliminary consultation. Great specialists who adjusted my color even better than I expected. They refreshed my haircut without cutting the length. They helped choose the right care and gave recommendations for maintaining the color. Also, everyone was very friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

To put it simply, this was an elite hair dressing experience. In fact, I didn’t know a haircut could be so pleasant! Lina listened carefully, checked in every step of the way, handled my hair gently and also explained certain steps. I felt reassured that I was in good hands - something you often don’t come across when at a new salon getting a haircut. But more than the evident experience and skill that Lina had, I was left with the biggest smile on my face due to the genuinely warm and friendly approach from herself and Elena. I had haircuts from three different hairdressers(the owner, the male hairdresser and the female hairdresser who does perms) in this place. They were all very professional and talented stylists. The owner watches every process and makes sure every customer is satisfied. When I first went there, my hair was terribly ruined by another hairdresser, the male stylist did such a good job. He simply saved my life! Last but not least, yesterday I tried the female stylist professional on curly hair, and now I can’t stay away from the mirror! Although this place is not expensive, their work is better than most fancy places. I highly recommend this Salon!

Firstly I would love to say that Elena and Lina are absolute angels! They are so funny, enthusiastic and brightened up my mood instantly. They really know the meaning of amazing customer service. I did my cut with Lina. She was incredibly gentle with my very tangled hair. We did a beautiful butterfly cut and she did a blowout afterwards. She was really amazing about checking to see what i’d like and she kept in mind that I wanted to keep my hair long. Now my hair feels so healthy with a lot of volume and bounce. These are the only women I can trust with my hair now! Thank you ladies!!

I am late to post my review. I got my balayage and cut done on 16th November by Lina. What an amazing person and stylist she is. She suggested me to get mushroom balayage and I went with it. I wanted my hair not to be too short and have curtain bangs. She did her magic in both. I was a bit skeptical as i could not see the mushroom balayage much on my brunette hair but she assured me that it will and Yes she was right. It looks so good now. So beautiful. 💜 I am so happy that i chose Fiagro and had Lina as my hair stylist. Will go again. Shout-out to you Lina. 💜 God bless.

Been working with Sindy for a while and she gives be the best cuts and colours ever. Transitioned to bangs and a fantastic tone-down of my super blonde hair to match my roots going in. She's a total pro and will always be realistic with your color expectations and what is actually possible with color technology.

Wonderful salon! Sindy did a great job on my cut and colour (which was a little unconventional!) despite my indecisiveness and only having a couple photos! Staff are lovely. My new go-to!

Really good :) I was at first upset because my hair had not turned out the way I wanted, but on my second visit Elena transformed my hair and also taught me how to style it on my own. They patiently explained that a perm is used to achieve a texture and aid the style, but that the look would inevitably still require a little work and maintenance. A small place, hidden location but great service! I've been searching for a hairstylist who understands Pixie, short hair style cut for about 2 years. Finally I found the girl with a charming French accent, beautiful smile and great skills.She comes from Lyon, France and she knows her scissors and sharp razor😊

I am so happy I have found this place! After having my hair burned by another salon, I met Elena for a consultation and her experience, knowledge, talent and warmth made me at ease immediately. I came back for my transformation a week later and Elena and Amandine were able to correct my color and work their magic on my hair. I went to Figaro a few weeks ago for a cut and balayage. I had already had balayage done that was growing out, and wanted more colour to help blend it with my natural colour. I had originally asked for highlights but they knew what I was looking for and suggested balayage instead, for a more gradual look which turned out exactly as I'd hoped! They had also made another suggestion for my haircut so that I would get everything I wanted out of my new hair. It turned out beautifully. Not only was everyone very friendly, but I really appreciate how professional and skilled they are, where they can make great suggestions to offer you the most out of your new look! Thank you!

I went to Figaro to get a big chop! My hair went half way down my back and I cut it to my chin. I went to Figaro a couple of months back and received quite a few treaments, I got my hair ombréd and the next day went back for a kerasilk treatment because I was going to travel and had very frizzy hair in humidity! My experience was amazing Elena and Lina were the woman who worked their magic on me!! The espresso machine was a god sent and snacking on coco sticks was even better!! And the work they do and knowledge is crazy I learned so much about my hair and for a first time at a Toronto hair salon I was extremely impressed I cant wait to go back and my hair is still silky smooth even after my trip and the colour is amazing!! ❤️❤️❤️

Very professional salon. This is by far the best salon I have been to in Toronto I don't put reviews but this one was needed. I did colour my hair and cut and looks amazing. Just next time I'm gonna cut my hair longer I cut it more than I should. Anyways they know what to do and I forgot the name of the lady who did mine she was veryyyyyyyyyyyy professional. I highly recommend this salon. You get what u want. And the owner is amazing she went through everything with how to style it, what colour and everything was perfect.

I have been getting my hair done at the Figaro salon for over 10 years now. It is operated by the owner Elena, who has lots of hairstyling and hair coloring experience. She probably won every single award under the sun! All her staff are very knowledgeable and a couple of years ago I had a pleasure of meeting Lina. She has years of hair styling experience on her own. Whether you are looking for creative ideas for coloring / cut /styles that would best suit you or have something specific in mind she is your kind of gal. With her we have maintained different styles which I loved but we also experimented with some new ones. She is a gem, I have never been disappointed and I am pleased to share my experience with her work. I am posting some of the coloring we did recently. I honestly can't praise this salon enough. My first visit exceeded all expectations. I went in with very damaged, over-processed, grown-out bleached hair from a previous stylist that I was not happy with and left with a gorgeous cut/style and a blonde that looks natural and full of dimension. I have found Figaro to be a great salon with very experienced and knowledgeable stylists. The atmosphere is always welcoming and customer service is always great. They managed to successfully fix my wife's horrible haircut 'created' by her previous hairdresser, I thought the situation was hopeless but Lina managed to miraculously save it. I have been a customer for a couple of years and I have found the quality and customer service to be excellent.

I rarely have to wait to be seated and I can't say that of any other hair salon --and I am always a few minutes early!

I had a colour correction that I needed fixing over the holidays back in December and I took a chance as I had never heard of this place and picked it based on the reviews.

Don't be fooled by the small location in a strip plaza... this place knows what they are doing and they deliver.

I have been to many Salons downtown, midtown and in the ossington area and I have to say no one cared for my hair in the way this salon did.

I had an ombré that desparetly needed to be fixed the top was too dark and need to be lightened by at least 3 levels.

Like most salons they did not dump bleach on my head and walk away. They cared about the damage to my hair and massaged the bleach and watched it for the entire time as it lightened.

My results were incredible and I would highly recommend this place. Elena and Lena thank you for the care you put into my hair!! I will be back.

I went to Figaro hair salon to achieve the perfect blonde/balayage.

I went in with extremely damaged brassy hair and the hairdresser Tamara spent 6+ hours on my hair to rejuvenate it and give me the best style and color.

Tamara knows exactly what she is doing and she is so professional, kind, and honest. OBSESSED with my new hair. I also love so much their entire team, they are so welcoming and honest and care so much for their client's hair. I will 100% return to them!

Everyone was super nice, a hairstylist Lina came across as very knowledgeable and experienced, she offered me a couple of hair style options, and was very helpful, I truly enjoyed the entire process! It's hard to find a hairdresser who you will be happy with 100%, but it feels like I've found one! The ambiance is very professional but welcoming at the same time.

Will definitely be back!

I've been a client of Figaro for many years and every time I do my hair there, I leave salon feeling a million bucks. Actually, all my friends and family go there. The Figaro team is very professional and friendly. They know exactly what I need, every time. They are not only the best hair color and cut professionals in Toronto, but also have a vision for what color or style would be most beneficial for a particular face type or a skin tone. Not to mention the prices are very affordable compared to other high-end salons in Toronto (believe me, I have something to compare to). Great salon! I found them through Yelp & read good reviews too from Google reviews. Elena & Lin were great! They're friendly & know exactly what you want done. Elena would tell you too if a cut or look doesn't suit you. After going to a different salon for a cut & having them fix it 2x w/o getting it right still, going to Figaro was a great decision. Best hair colorists too! I highly recommend Figaro!
