Elena saved my hair! After many years, my beloved hair stylist retired and I had no choice but to try someone new. I went to a random salon in my area and they butchered my hair. Not giving up, I did some research, found Figaro and Elena, and made an appointment. Incredibly, Elena took the mess of a hairstyle I had, and transformed it into a thing of beauty - without sacrificing length! I visited this salon last week for colour correction services after being steered to the salon by amazing online reviews - and I'm so glad I did! Lina was fantastic at assessing the issues with the current highlights (wrong tone, colour placement, uneven processing), understanding what overall look I was after, and walking me through what steps would be needed to correct them. She was able to turn the 'yellow/orange/stripey' highlights I walked in with to a very natural and sun-kissed look, and I'm so happy with how it all worked out. Thanks Lina!

I usually don't write any reviews but this is a MUST! I had the most relaxing experience with Sindy! She is the sweetest, and made me feel comfortable during my appointment. My hair was difficult to manage for the LONGEST time, because of my past choices in box dyeing, which made me feel insecure as it was impossible to restore alone. She completely transformed my hair! I have never seen it so healthy, soft, and shiny. I could not shut up about my cut and dye for days. I am obsessed! If you struggle with breakage, tangled, damaged hair, Sindy can fix that for you, definitely worth the price, she is a pro!

Sindy did my hair and it was the most amazing experience I’ve had at a salon. I came in with damaged hair and a bad dye job and she somehow made my hair look like it belonged on a magazine cover! I’m never trusting anyone other than her do dye it again. Highly recommend

Cindy SAVED my hair! I went to her with what I thought was an absolutely dire bleach job and left with the exact hair style that I wanted. Not only does it look incredible, it FEELS incredible. Absolutely restored. Both Cindy and Elena consulted with me and kept expectations realistic but let me tell you they EXCEEDED ALL OF THEM. Trust me. If you need color correction go to this team and listen to all of their advice. They will deliver!

This salon saved my hair! I am so thankful for the services that I received at the Figaro Salon. Amandine and Elena took on a very difficult task to colour correct my recently coloured hair which was done by another salon. I arrived at Figaro's with bleached and burnt hair which was supposed to be a balayage. As you can see by attached Before and After photos, they did a fantastic job of not only saving my hair but also creating the desired balayage and making it look soooooooo beautiful! Thank you so much, ladies! Services at this salon are not cheap but the results are so worth it! The staff at Figaro is extremely experienced and professional (check out their website for more details on staff's qualifications and experience) that it justifies their prices 100%! Don't be fooled by 'special prices' at other salons. Quality work requires time and professionalism and that costs money.

My first visit to Figaro was for a colour correction; another salon gave me blonde highlights I did not like and they gave me a hard time when I asked to have it fixed. I am so happy I chose Figaro, I am so pleased with the results! Lina assessed my hair, gave me quite a few options for correction, and then not only corrected my hair colour with a beautiful balayage/toner over blonde highlights, she also trimmed my hair to get rid of the choppy haircut I received (the cut started as just a quick fix, but she ended up cutting/styling it amazingly and for no charge). Throughout the process, Lina explained everything to me before she proceeded, which I really appreciated. Her and the rest of the crew treated me to coffee and chocolates and lastly, and this might just be my preference, but Lina always addressed me by my name, not 'hun, sweetie' or other terms of endearments, but by my name and it really made me feel like she was there for me, saw me as a person she wanted to help and not just another client. Thank you Lina and Figaro, I am absolutely calling you my salon of choice and so far, the best I have visited in Toronto!

I've waited for 6 months, and so now I can base my review on several visits. First, if your hair is a disaster, whether from a single catastrophic encounter at someone else's hands or from a series of not-so-great decisions (which was my case), then you get yourself over to Figaro and their expert hands, and he will perform a miracle of colour correction and balayage of near biblical proportions so that you and everyone else will be amazed at your fab hair. Then you keep going back, appointment after appointment, because you will find yourself addicted to the experience of consistently excellent cuts and colour. You may start to wonder why you have been doing anything other than this your whole adult life. At Figaro, the staff is expert and warm, and I really appreciate the atmosphere, which is welcoming and not at all pretentious. 5 stars without hesitation!

Today, I had my hair done at Figaro Hair Salon by Lina and Elena. Lina is a professional hair stylist did a very good job by doing balayage and laminate for my hair. About a month ago, I've had a bad experience at another place where my hair colour end up completely wrong. So, I went to see Elena ( Art director) at Figaro Salon and asked her to fix the mistake. Elena took very professional approach advising it to be done in a few steps avoiding damagiing my hair. Elena and Lina work as a team. Elena has a very good esthetic taste and can give unique professional advice. I am very happy with the result.

Lina always transforms my hair to styles I even do not have a clue for my hair texture and colour. She always takes the appropriate steps to make sure the final results are exactly what I want! Never leave from Figaro disappointed.

I honestly can't praise this salon enough. My first visit exceeded all expectations. I went in with very damaged, over-processed, grown-out bleached hair from a previous stylist that I was not happy with and left with a gorgeous cut/style and a blonde that looks natural and full of dimension. I had a colour correction that I needed fixing over the holidays back in December and I took a chance as I had never heard of this place and picked it based on the reviews.

Don't be fooled by the small location in a strip plaza... this place knows what they are doing and they deliver.

I have been to many Salons downtown, midtown and in the ossington area and I have to say no one cared for my hair in the way this salon did.

I had an ombré that desparetly needed to be fixed the top was too dark and need to be lightened by at least 3 levels.

Like most salons they did not dump bleach on my head and walk away. They cared about the damage to my hair and massaged the bleach and watched it for the entire time as it lightened.

My results were incredible and I would highly recommend this place. Elena and Lena thank you for the care you put into my hair!! I will be back.

I've been a client of Figaro for many years and every time I do my hair there, I leave salon feeling a million bucks. Actually, all my friends and family go there. The Figaro team is very professional and friendly. They know exactly what I need, every time. They are not only the best hair color and cut professionals in Toronto, but also have a vision for what color or style would be most beneficial for a particular face type or a skin tone. Not to mention the prices are very affordable compared to other high-end salons in Toronto (believe me, I have something to compare to). Great salon! I found them through Yelp & read good reviews too from Google reviews. Elena & Lin were great! They're friendly & know exactly what you want done. Elena would tell you too if a cut or look doesn't suit you. After going to a different salon for a cut & having them fix it 2x w/o getting it right still, going to Figaro was a great decision. Best hair colorists too! I highly recommend Figaro!
